Your responsibilities as a working student

As a working student within Vuyk there are several options to choose from. Depending on your interests and availability, you can for example work on projects running at that moment or focusing on updating and improving calculation tools and methods in all stages of engineering. Some projects were Vuyk at the moment is interested in are:
• Making ANSYS postprocessing routines (fatigue, stress RAO’s, buckling).
• Programming the equation of motion to simulate manoeuvrability.
• Develop software to model and optimize the energy consumption of different choices of systems.
• Making optimization tools for different parts of the vessel designs.
